Learning outcomes To provide advanced training, competences and ability to develop interdisciplinary research, laboratory-based, integrating advanced chemistry, electromechanical and civil engineering knowledge, and other related fields, namely:
a) Understanding of interdisciplinary research methodologies, in a laboratory context;
b) Domain in studying and laboratory development of multifunctioning, smart and biotechnology-based materials and building element prototypes.
Syllabus 1. Research on the development of materials and prototypes of building elements, multifunctional, intelligent and based on the application of biotechnologies.
2. Study and optimization of the chemical composition, microstructure, and performance of new materials and prototypes of construction elements, and their mechanical and physical-chemical properties.
