Teaching Methodologies and Assessment Criteria The TP lectures adopted predominantly expository and inductive methods by presenting practical cases and cases of everyday problems beyond the theoretical content. In TP classes, students independently construct individual dossiers by solving exercises, under the supervision of teachers, through consultation of a bibliography for this purpose.
In the laboratory, students apply the knowledge acquired in lectures and the theoretical and practical. To this end, students are asked to develop experimental laboratory work according to specific test standards. The evaluation is performed with the following items: an individual written test covering theoretical and practical issues; a portfolio of individual problem solving; experimental laboratory work, and also a work project which consists in developing a study regarding the study of the composition, production, control plan and acceptance of a concrete/bituminous mix.
Language Portuguese. Tutorial support is available in English.
