Learning outcomes The objective of this course unit is to allow the students to acquire knowledge about the different types of business that can be developed through direct use of the possibilities and characteristics of the Web, both in a perspective of creating new business and of integration in teams working in already existing business.

Business types: 2.1 Information providing/presentation 2.2 Service providing 2.3 Commerce 2.4 Marketing and advertising 2.5 Business partially based on the Web 3. Analysis of business requirements/investment for each type of business 4. Impact, in the business, of the different form of web access5. Geographic coverage of the business (cultures, languages, legislations) 6. Future perspectives
