Mechanics and Waves

Code 14765
Year 1
Semester S2
ECTS Credits 6
Workload T(30H)/TP(30H)
Scientific area Physics
Entry requirements N.A.
Learning outcomes Acquisition of basic, theoretical and practical knowledge of Physics, namely Mechanics, and Vibrations and Waves, for the understanding of important physical phenomena for an applied aspect of Mathematics.

At the end of the Curricular Unit, the student should be able to analyze, understand and mathematically describe some basic phenomena of Mechanics, Vibrations and Waves. Consequently, you will be able to apply its basic principles in the description and discussion of a physical experience relevant to Applied Mathematics.
