Learning outcomes |
The main objective of the curricular unit is to train students for the scientific research process. At the end of the semester, students should be able to:
1. Materialize a research project;
2. Conduct an investigation autonomously.
3. Proper use of software to support the research process (Mendeley, MAXQDA, SPSS).

Syllabus |
1. The scientific research process; break with common sense and production of scientific thought.
2. The research project: title, theme and problem, theoretical review, objectives and hypotheses, methodology and design of the research, schedule, references.
3. The materialization of the investigation: methodological procedures for data collection; treatment, analysis and interpretation of data and writing of scientific work.
4. Software to support the research process; Mendeley, MAXQDA and SPSS.

Teaching Methodologies and Assessment Criteria |
All work will be oriented towards the performance of exercises in the classroom. This practice continues, aims to enable students to plan, execute, present and defend their future dissertations.
Taking into account the eminently practical objectives of this curricular unit, there will be no final theoretical exam.
