Learning outcomes In this Curricular Unit it is expected that students learn to distinguish the main theories of the emotional processes as well as acquire an understanding of the interplay between emotions and other relevant psychological variables. Thus, at the end of UC the student must be able to:
- acquire a basic knowledge of the key approaches and emotion research challenges;
- describe the development of emotions and emotion regulation;
- describe how emotion is expressed;
- understand the interplay between emotion and other psychological domains/dimensions;
- identify the main contexts of intervention and research;
- identify the principles underlying the assessment of emotions;
- Understand the relationship of emotions with other areas of human functioning;
- search and manage scientific information;
- produce and structure written scientific documents;
- demonstrate teamwork skills;
- communicate information and scientific knowledge.
