Learning outcomes This CU is oriented towards the preparation and discussion of students' research projects. Its objective is to deepen the skills necessary for the elaboration and writing of a thesis with a demanding standard of quality through collective learning work in a seminar regime.
Among the skills to be acquired, the following stand out: awareness of the elaboration process and techniques of writing a thesis. It also seeks to stimulate the reading, analysis and cross-discussion of the scientific texts that doctoral students must prepare at the end of the semester (thesis projects). Finally, the ability to present oral and argumentative presentations to audiences specialized in scientific work is also exercised.
Syllabus Seminar sessions focus on the discussion of epistemological and methodological approaches to scientific research. In the first part, the seminar is oriented towards the presentation and discussion of the main strategies available for the development of a doctoral work, in order to support the students' choices regarding the respective projects. In a second part, it is intended to prepare the students for the development of the thesis work, namely the fieldwork and the writing of the thesis.
