Teaching Methodologies and Assessment Criteria |
Teaching / learning activities include tutorial sessions, practical activities, and an integrative workshop. In order to integrate the different knowledge acquired during the 1st year, the students have a tutorial session to solve examples of exercises. These are worked individually and discussed among students under the guidance of the teacher. In addition, students are divided into groups and challenged to characterize and / or interpret a clinical case in the light of 1st year knowledge. The teacher guides each group of students in order to research relevant information to prepare a presentation of the clinical case.
Regarding the practical activities, these aim to facilitate the acquisition of basic skills that a student must acquire in the first year.
The evaluation of the integration of knowledge is done through a workshop, where each group presents its clinical case, and an evaluation with integrative exercises.
