Learning outcomes The UC aims to provide an integration between the contents learned in the different UCs of the year and their application in the future.
At the end of UC the students should be able to:
Know how to integrate learned contents of 1st year.
Reveal appropriate professional skills and attitudes related with medical profession.
Provide the first aid and basic life support.
Team work.
Syllabus Attitudes of the doctor.
First aid.
Patient safety and ergonomics of health systems.
Hygiene of the Hands.
Basic support of life.
Integration between the curricular programs of the all UCs of the 1st year.

Teaching Methodologies and Assessment Criteria a) Mandatory participation with approval in ALL activities of the Competence Laboratory 1.
b) Mandatory participation in all evaluation moments.
c) Mandatory participation in at least one of the workshop sessions.
d) Mandatory participation in the integrative seminars/tutorials, except for working students.
e) Obtaining at least 10 points after conversion to the total scoring unit of the course unit.

Integrated Evaluation of the 1st Year (ABI 1) - 100 points (50% of the final grade)
Workshop - 70 points (35% of the final grade)
Basic Competencies 1 (LaC1) - 30 points (15% of the final grade)

Note 1: None of the components can be completed in a final exam.
Note 2: Justifications for absences: applicable ONLY to mandatory attendance activities and evaluation moments.
Language Portuguese. Tutorial support is available in English.
