Learning outcomes The objectives of the course unit Integrative Elements IV are:

1. Provide students with in-depth, integrated knowledge of the content learned in the various curricular units of the 4th year, and to offer an approach to its future application.

2. Acquire relational and technical skills in the areas of ultrasonography and patient safety.

3. Develop clinical skills through the completion of medical histories and mini-clinical examinations.

4. Acquire clinical reasoning skills and the ability to develop a differential diagnosis.

5. Produce a reflection on the learning process throughout the year through the preparation of a portfolio.
Syllabus 1. Approach to the Geriatric Patient

2. Clinical Communication

3. Clinical Competencies through various working tools such as the Medical History, Mini-Clinical Examinations, and the development of clinical reasoning.

4. Integrated Clinical Assessment through the resolution of clinical cases that bring together the different clinical areas taught in the 4th-year blocks, with theoretical and practical components, with and without a simulated patient, representing common clinical situations.

5. Development of the Portfolio.

6. Clinical Skills Block 2 (LaC4), which includes activities in Ultrasonography and Patient Safety.
