- Know the intervention-action methodologies and their potential for the practice of Architecture

1.1 Space, territory and place. The contributions of a sociological vision.
1.2 Origins and development of Urban and Space Sociology
1.3 Cities and urbanism
2. Currents of Urban Sociology
2.1. The ecological and cultural perspective of the Chicago School.
2.2 The neo-marxist approach.
2.3 Max Weber’s contributions.
2.4 The symbolic approach.
2.5. The current of the ways of life.
3. New Trends in Sociological Studies on Urban Space

Teaching Methodologies and Assessment Criteria Assessment methods: individual and team work in a classroom context according to the teams based learning methodology.
Assessment criteria: teamwork = 50%; individual analytical test = 50%; attendance in classes = minimum 50%; minimum rating = 6.0 values.
