Learning outcomes The main objective of this course unit is the study of Fault Diagnostics in Electromechatronic Systems.
At the end of this course unit the student should be able to identify and select the most appropriate fault diagnostic techniques.
Syllabus Introduction. Electromechatronics. Electromechatronic systems, Faults and Failures. The Concept of Fault Diagnosis. Three-Phase Induction Motors: Reliability Statistical Surveys; Fault Analysis; Diagnostic Techniques. Three-Phase Power Transformers: Reliability Statistical Surveys; Diagnostic Techniques. Fault Tolerance. Standardization.
