Learning outcomes O1 - To have knowledge of the necessary bases for the dimensioning of steel structures
O2 - To have knowledge and interpret current regulations
O3 - To have knowledge of the section sizing methodology recommended in current regulations
O4 – Ability in the verification to ELU and ELS of steel elements subject to different types of internal forces
O5 - To have knowledge of the methodology of the sizing of connections recommended in current regulations
O6 – Ability in the dimensioning of welded and bolted connections
O7 - Recognize the problem of steel behaviour at elevated temperatures.
