Learning outcomes |
The curricular unit has two main goals: (1) at first intends to give to the student the knowledge that he needs to understand how the electronic systems found in the industry work; (2) through the acquired teachings, the student must be able to conceive, design and develop solutions in the industrial electronics field.
|
Syllabus |
1. Power electronics review: Principles of electronic power conversion, semiconductors, and topologies of AC / DC converters. 2. DC / DC converters: command / control strategies, analysis and applicability of each approach/topology. 3. DC / AC converters, command / control strategies, analysis and applicability of each approach/topology. 4. AC / DC converters (rectifiers) with improved power factor. 5. Introduction to Matrix Converters 6. Conversion topologies that integrate several conversion stages: Applicability of each of the solutions.
