This curricular unit aims to familiarise the students with the transformation techniques of ballots into mandates, the repercussions of the different electoral systems in the political representation, the determinants of the electoral behaviour and the electoral geography of Portugal.

Teaching Methodologies and Assessment Criteria |
The course unit will be taught in the form of seminars. Each seminar requires the preparation of a previously distributed text and the discussion, in the classroom, of the questions addressed by the text. The weekly performance of each student will be evaluated and publicized.
