Learning outcomes The purpose of the UC is to provide the student with the development of study skills and the integration of knowledge about teaching and assessment in Education. It seeks to contribute to the broadest possible understanding of the professional intervention framework within the scope of physical education teaching in basic (2nd and 3rd cycle) and secondary education.
Syllabus 1. Objectives, contents and organization of physical and sports activities within the scope of basic and secondary education;
2. The work session and the specifics of the contents of the different physical and sporting activities;
3. The class: factors of effectiveness, management and analysis of the activity;
4. Instruction: role, moments, strategies and factors that optimize the quality of instruction;
5. Feedback and its role in learning;
6. The use of error as a teaching subject in a constructivist perspective;
7. Assessment in Physical Education and Sport;
8. Assessment procedures. Systematic assessment tools and methods;
9. Concept of Teaching Styles and Strategies;
10. Teaching Models in Sport: from behavioral models to constructivist models. The Developmental Model of tasks and the game;
11. Teaching Sports Games: o Model of teaching the game for understanding and variants;
12. The pedagogical challenge of interculturality in the Physical Education space.

Teaching Methodologies and Assessment Criteria A methodology of pedagogical-didactic action will be adapted, predominantly of exposition/discussion and analysis. It is also intended to create an applied learning environment, so that the most theoretical contents will be presented using practical and concrete examples within the scope of research in physical education.
