Teaching Methodologies and Assessment Criteria |
Theoretical sessions or presentation of content by the teacher and, in some classes, also with a guest teacher.
Conducting written exercises by students inside and outside the classroom (for example: preparation and presentation of a class on a country and essay);
Discussion of the main ideas of the class texts;
Organization of debates and analysis of case studies.
The teacher of the discipline provides the students with the preparatory materials for the classes, in order to improve prior information and facilitate the students' participatory reflection. The preparatory materials represent important learning resources and are available on the University's Moodle platform. The contact sessions include, in balanced doses, exposition by the teacher, a presentation by the student and a debate with the class.
