Entry requirements |
Knowledge of Applied Mechanics and Mechanics of Solids.
|
Learning outcomes |
Develop the ability to analyse a specific problem, in a simple and logical way, in order to be able to understand and develop capabilities in mechanical design. Analyse, identify and calculate the loads on mechanical structures, or mechanical components, in equilibrium under external loads. Understand the deformation mechanisms of structural components subjected to tensile, bending and torsion, acting individually or jointly. Acquire ability to design mechanical components.
