Learning outcomes In this course is intended that students learn the main technological processes and their suitability for mechanical pieces production and / or mechanical structures.
At the end of the course the student should be able to analyze which technological process is more suitable for obtaining a mechanical piece, through numerical calculations show the feasibility of the process. Know the difference between the type of process depending on the characteristics of the parts to get.

Teaching Methodologies and Assessment Criteria In theoretical classes, knowledge is transmitted in a classic way, encouraging students to participate actively, and the different types of processes are presented using audiovisual aids. Practical exercises are also carried out during the theoretical-practical classes. Continuous assessment is carried out through two written tests and attendance. Students who fail the continuous assessment take the final exam, which consists of a single test.
Language Portuguese. Tutorial support is available in English.
