Learning outcomes	1-Describe the various structural models and relate them to the physical properties of the fibers. 2-Analyze the structure of the main natural and non-natural fibers. 3-Characterize the physical and physicochemical properties of the fibers. 4-Evaluate the physical properties of fibers: enunciate principles and carry out experimental methods of analysis, compare results of various fibers. At the end of this unit, the student should be able to: 1- Relate the structure with the physical properties and with the technological processes of production and transformation. 2-Explain the physical meaning of the quantities used to characterize the fibers. 3-Perform experimental techniques and analyze the results obtained.
