Learning outcomes |
1) Understanding the principles of anthropometry and pattern making and its relevance to the process in fashion product development for industry, based on the teaching / learning multidisciplinary. 2) To know, identify and select tables measures and sizes of national and international fashion brands. Systematize the advantages and disadvantages of each market. 3) Understanding not only of the technical and constructive specificities of pattern making of easy garment pieces, but also of the experimental potential for new solutions and innovation for the market. 4) Be able to produce by digital CAD systems the base and complementary patterns associated with different pieces of clothing. 5) Develop capabilities to understand and solve problems associated with the completion and change of patterns in a multidisciplinary context. 6) Acquire skills for the development and transformation patterns in 2D/ 3D digital systems of garments, complemented with scientific and market research.

1.General principles of anthropometrics. Human body and the ergonomic features 1.1. Identification and selection of measuring tables and sizes of national and international fashion brands. 1.2. Conformations for man, woman and children associated to measuring tables. 1.2.1. Size chart for men, woman and children. 1.2.2 . Creating size charts in the CAD system 1.3.Size correspondence among several countries. 1.4. Advantages and drawbacks of identifying of sizes in different country. 1.5. International rules. 2. Pattern development and transformation of 2D outer base garments: 2.1. Pattern of skirts and transformations (TR) 2.2. Pattern of pants for men and women and TR 2.3. Patterns for shirts for men and women and TR, 2.4. Pattern of dresses and TR. 3. Development of patterns of garment pieces in digital 2D and 3D 4. State of the Art in the practical development of 3D modeling. Techniques to make prototypes in digital 3D with different types of digital fabrics
