Learning outcomes At the end of this U.C. the student must know:
1) Develop and apply design methodologies in the creative and productive process of knitted products; 2) Apply sustainability techniques in the development and production of knitted products;
3) Knowing the main operations of knit product finishing;
4) Carry out the quality control of the knitted product;
5) Ability to develop a knitted product collection;
6) capacity to perform the estimation of knitted product production costs
Syllabus 1) Design of knit structures, predict their behavior and make their selection depending upon their applications; 2) Organization of the production process according to the type of product to be done;
3) Main knit product finishing operations;
4) Quality control on the knit and/or knit product;
5) Application of sustainability techniques in the development of knitted collections;
6) Design and development of a knit product using CAD/CAM tools;
7) Planning and production of knitted product collections;
8) Cost estimation and knit product marketing.
