Learning outcomes 1 - Know, identify and select base patterns for complex garments associated with trends in each market and identify key technical components for their respective transformations.
2 - Understanding not only of the technical and constructive specificities of pattern making of complex garment pieces, but also of the experimental potential for new solutions in digital technology and innovation for the market for sustainable fashion product.
3 - Be able to produce by digital CAD systems the base and complementary patterns associated with different complex pieces of clothing.
4 - Develop capabilities to understand and solve problems associated with the completion and change of patterns in a multidisciplinary context.
5 - Acquire skills for the development and transformation patterns in 2D/3D digital systems of Jackets and other complex garments, and validation in digital avatars.
Syllabus 1. Apparel Trends and Markets: Complex apparel patterns making
1.1. Fashion product trends
1.2. Fashion product markets and digital technologies 2D/3D for industry (Lectra, Optitex, Bronzewear, Clo3D)
2 . Techniques and Innovation in the Development of patterns making for sustainable fashion products: Zero waste, upcycling, slowfashion, among others and its application to 2D/3D Digital modeling
3.Development and transformations of digitally 2D patterns making of complex outer garments:
3.1. Lady’s jackets patterns and transformations (RT)
3.2. Men’s jackets patterns and RT
3.3. Activewear patterns for men and women and RT
3.4. Patterns of other complex parts and RT
4. Development of 2D/3D garment patterns digitally.
5. Development of avatars associated with different markets for 3D digital presentation of complex garments patterns making with respective materials and accessories.
