Teaching Methodologies and Assessment Criteria The course unit consists of theoretical classes and practical laboratory classes. In the theoretical classes, the lecturer presents the course content and examples for discussion, encouraging reflection. The practical laboratory classes will take place in the weaving workshops, where students will be able to work with different equipment and carry out experimental work in the field of weaving.
At the end of each experimental project, students must write a report in which they apply the knowledge they have acquired and discuss the results obtained in a scientific manner. The assessment of the course unit comprises a theoretical component (written test) with a weighting of 70% and a practical component (average of practical laboratory work) with a weighting of 30%, regardless of the assessment period (frequency, normal exam or appeal exam).
The admission criterion for the exam is 6 points and the pass mark is 9.5 points.
Language Portuguese. Tutorial support is available in English.
