Teaching Methodologies and Assessment Criteria |
The course consists of theoretical and practical/laboratory classes. The teaching and learning methodology will be student-centered. In the theoretical classes, the instructor will present the course content and provide real-world examples and facts for discussion, encouraging reflection. The practical/laboratory classes will take place in the Fiber Physical Testing Laboratory and the Optics Center, where students will operate different equipment and carry out various experimental projects in the area of ??textile metrology and materials characterization. At the end of each experimental project, students must prepare a written report where they should apply the acquired knowledge and scientifically discuss the results. The assessment comprises a written exam (80% of the final grade) and a practical project (20% of the final grade). Students with a grade of 7 are eligible to take the exam.
