Entry requirements Bachelor's or Master's degree in teaching.
Learning outcomes The course starts from the contribution of neurosciences and the philosophy of inclusive education to favor the creation of inclusive teaching-learning environments for children and adolescents with mental health disorders. It aims to provide kindergarten teachers and teachers (primary and secondary education) with training in inclusive education associated with mental health issues in childhood and adolescence.
At the end of the course, the student should be able to:
-Debate the contribution of neurosciences to inclusive education;
-Identify the principles of inclusive education;
-Operationalize the creation of inclusive environments;
-Apply the principles of universal design for learning in the implementation of practices of pedagogical differentiation, including a differentiated assessment;
-Identify the most common mental health disorders in children and adolescents;
-Apply appropriate intervention strategies to the identified disturbances.
