Teaching Methodologies and Assessment Criteria |
Lectures, based on PowerPoints slides and other online available information. To promote the relationship between different subjects, the professor promotes discussion of practical aspects. The theoretical concepts are accompanied by the resolution of problems in the theoretical-practical classes.
The students, organized in groups of 2-3 elements, make the analysis of one production process (chemical and / or biotechnological), or a part of it, from the point of view of thermodynamics, chemical / biochemical reactions, the mass and energy balances and unit operations.
Evaluation: Written evaluation (10 points - 50%) - two tests (5 points each) Group work about a production process, or a given part of it, with oral presentation and discussion (10 points - 50%)
