Learning outcomes |
Introduction to electrical and magnetic phenomena. Understanding of the fundamentals of electricity and magnetism. At the end of this CU the student must be able to apply the knowledge acquired in solving typical problems and in real situations in his area of knowledge, as well as mathematically equating problems involving electrical and magnetic interactions, combining the knowledge acquired with contents of the mathematics disciplines.

Teaching Methodologies and Assessment Criteria |
Theoretical-practical classes (TP) of oral exposition of the syllabus of the curricular unit, using audiovisual means, accompanied by the resolution of application-type problems and the discussion of the obtained results, including demonstration videos and, whenever appropriate, some experimental demonstrations. In classes, students perform the proposed application problems, including activities with application of simulations.
The final evaluation of the curricular unit will consist in two components: 1. carrying out two written tests (90%), 2. carrying out problems and activities with simulations (10%).
