Learning outcomes To acquire skills related to the different media used in webpages.
After concluding the course unit, the student should be able to:
- Understand the area of multimedia contents used in webpages, including their correct application
- Develop multimedia contents for webpages.
Syllabus History and progress of multimedia on the Web
Manipulation and transformation of media: text, images, audio, video
Fundaments of interactivity and server-side content
Web content production and integration on Web projects

Teaching Methodologies and Assessment Criteria Theoretical classes with exposition of the topics, followed by practical classes to apply in practice the subjects taught.
Laboratory work is proposed covering the syllabus contents of the curricular unit. The laboratory/practical classes promote interaction between the teacher and the students, to clarify doubts in real time. The students carry out an individual project work to present and discuss at the end of the semester. At the end of the UC the student should be able to do bibliographic research and synthesis on topics related to the composition of Web content.
