Learning outcomes |
This Curricular Unit is mandatory, and its main objective is to promote contact between doctoral students with different topics in fashion design, particularly in the areas of: 1 - fundamental and applied research in fashion design; 2 - R&D case studies from an academic and/or industrial context, 3 - emerging products and technologies and future perspectives in fashion design. This UC also aims to: 1 - deepen the training and critical spirit of the doctoral student in the area of fashion design; 2 - acquire up-to-date knowledge and advanced skills in some topics relevant to the research area to be developed in thei Thesis. 3 - develop critical discussion skills about the processes, methodologies and analysis of scientific research results in this area.

Syllabus |
After the annual request made to the different institutions involved (UBI and UM) about possible topics for the seminars, the responsible professor will establish the program and sequence of seminars proposed for the edition of the doctoral program.

The bibliography will be based upon scientific articles in the field of each individual investigative path.
