Learning outcomes |
1. Acquire knowledge of the preparation process for the manufacturing, assembly and finishing of varied garments with a medium-high level of complexity. 2. Be able to select subsidiary raw materials depending on the type of piece to be made. 3. Apply knowledge related to the assembly and finishing of fabric and knitted garments, in the execution of prototypes and final pieces. 4. Develop a dossier of production specifications with sustainability criteria and that contributes to the circular economy.

Syllabus |
1.Preparation operations for manufacturing. 1.1 Raw materials and subsidiary materials/trimmings: selection according to the type of piece to be manufactured. 1.2 Fabric spreading and cutting plane – material profitability. 1.3 Stretching and cutting of specific fabrics: patterned, checkered and run fabrics. 2. Assembly processes (assembly ranges) of garments: 2.1 Men's/women's coats; Shirts; Dresses; Pants 2.2 Production of a complete garment following the assembly range for that piece 2.3 Manufacture of constituent parts of varied and more complex parts 3. Industrial finishing of manufactured parts 4. Specifications books and technical sheets (manufacturing technical book). 5. Design, execution, validation, and correction of toiles/prototypes 6. Criteria for the Industrialization of products for an era of sustainability and circular economy

Teaching Methodologies and Assessment Criteria |
Active and cooperative teaching-learning methodologies were adapted that encourage reflection and value processes of a cognitive and interpersonal nature, defending the acquisition of concepts, problem solving, research, and practical work carried out in PL classes, centered on student and face-to-face. The final grade at the end of the Teaching-Learning period is calculated as follows: 50% Prototype and manufacturing + 40% technical dossier + 10%. Student participation and commitment
The student must have a minimum grade of 6 to be admitted to the exam, with the obligation to submit all proposed work.
The student is exempt from the exam if, in the teaching learning classification, they have a grade greater than or equal to 10 points - Approved.
