Learning outcomes This unit aims to give master students the confidence and the structure for creating and conducting their own project. Through experimenting with different tasks and activities students develop capacity and consciousness needed for researching & developing, as well as, structuring and producing their own project.

. Develop confidence and technical knowledge in the use of cameras and working with photographic equipment in the fashion environment and its production.
. Develop the mindset and thinking required as a photographer, with the ability to observe, reflect and identify relevant themes and movements in contemporary culture.
. Develop analytical skills to understand a photograph in technical terms (lighting, composition, angle, speed, shutter, etc.).
. Develop an independent and project-oriented approach to creating content with photography, including: planning, systematising, conducting different activities and research to achieve a desired goal or message.
Syllabus 1. Digital photography | Camera, technique and exposure.
2. Photographic composition | Image rectangle, graphic and photographic elements.
3. Digital photo editing | Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Camera Raw.
4. Fashion production | Photographers, magazines, photographic genres and other key players.
5. Photographic vision and fashion communication | Creativity, visual perception and photographic narrative (editorial/fashion campaign).
6. Fashion photo shoot | Light, modifiers, accessories and lighting configurations.
