Mechanical, thermal, electrical and sensory properties. 5. Metal alloys in mechanical construction. 6. High-performance polymeric materials. 7. Advanced ceramic materials. Thermal barrier coatings. 8. Composite materials. Functional gradient materials. Multifunctional materials. 9. Ruin mechanisms in materials. Fatigue, creep, wear and corrosion. 10. Materials and the environment. Life cycle of a material.
