Learning outcomes |
At the end of this subject the student ought to know:
1 – How to relate the knowledge about yarns, and their characteristics, with possible applications in the knitting industry;
2 - Know how to characterize the current knitting industry, its main production processes, its variants and different types of products;
3 – being able to Identify, interpret, relate, analyze, reproduce and develop the main knit structures;
4 – How to design knit structures, predict their behavior and make their selection in accordance to their applications;
5 – Develop a knitting pre-project using CAD tools.
