Learning outcomes To understand the importance of CAD systems applied to the Textile and Clothing Industry. To grasp fundamental notions about color and understand the different color spaces used in specific software applications applied to fashion design. Know how to use programs in real context for the creation of clothing models, simulation of fabrics and knitwear and creation of prints. Know how to apply the programs studied in the creation of collections.
Syllabus The classes are theoretical, theoretical-practical, and practical in nature and are taught in a CAD laboratory with the support of computer tools, using specific software programs. The assessment consists of a test and a practical assignment, both conducted on the computer using the programs specified in the course syllabus. The semester grade for the subject is calculated using the following formula: Semester grade = Test 20% + Practical Assignment 75% + Attendance 5% To pass the semester, the student must achieve a grade of 10 or higher. Attendance in the course requires a minimum semester grade of 6
