Learning outcomes The present unit intends to promote capabilities of research, design and development concerning to the manufacturing process and joining techniques. Students should recognize different manufacturing processes and joining techniques, their mechanisms, potential and limitations for the different type of materials.
Syllabus Introduction. Manufacturing processes related with Metals; Polymers; Composites; and Ceramics. Strategies/application of methodologies for selection of manufacturing processes.
