Teaching Methodologies and Assessment Criteria Exposure of the subject matters by the teacher followed by practical exercises by the students. Execution by the students of technical drawings from 3D objects either provided by the teacher or designed from scratch by the students. Training of the interpretation of technical drawings, getting the students to create a 3D object from the 2D drawing provided. Study tour of manufacturing facilities investigating the design cycle of a product from design to manufacturing. Project and manufacturing by CNC of a real object from the digital drawings conceived by the students. The evaluation consists of a written test (TA: 85%) and the analysis of practical work realized by the students (TP: 15%). The attendance (A) will be controlled.
Final classification results from: CF = 85%TA + 15%TP.
Final grade depends on the following criteria:
NÃO ADMITIDO: if CF < 6,0 or A < 50%
FREQUÊNCIA: if CF>=6,0 and CF<9,5
ROUNDING TO THE CLOSEST INTEGER: if CF>=9,5
Language Portuguese. Tutorial support is available in English.
