Learning outcomes • Raising students' understanding of project as a new venture, which can be developed either in an existing organization or through the creation of a new organization;
• To familiarize students with key concepts, methods and problems that define the specificity of Project Management;
• Stimulate student's ability to observe, analyze and critique various phenomena related to Project Management;
• Develop the ability of practical application of concepts and methods of Project Management.

Teaching Methodologies and Assessment Criteria Classes are of theoretical and practical nature, where the theoretical exposition is accompanied, where
possible, with the presentation of practical examples, case studies and practical work by the students.
Practical work includes a project to create a business and the development of a critical analysis of the
presented projects, including a written part and an oral presentation.
- Attendance not mandatory

Periodic Evaluation:
- A written test, with 40% of the final grade;
- Exercises during classes, with 10% of the final grade;
- Written work, with 40% for the final grade;
- Presentation of the work, with 10% for the final grade.
Note: Minimum score of 6 values.

Final evaluation:
- Written exam (75%) and written work (25%)
Language Portuguese. Tutorial support is available in English.
