Teaching Methodologies and Assessment Criteria The student can choose one of the following works:

a) Short film + written essay or report
b) Paper

The overall objective of the project is to answer the question: What is Cinema?

Work a)
Assessment:
Proposal (synopsis and statement of intent) + State of the Art: 25%
Short Film: 50%
Written essay or report: 25%

Work b)
Assessment:
Proposal + State of the Art: 50%
Paper: 50%

- The exam will consist of improvements to the work completed.
Language Portuguese. Tutorial support is available in English.
