Learning outcomes |
Throughout the semester, students are expected to deepen their understanding of a set of historical-artistic concepts, aiming for a profound comprehension of the various currents from the 18th century to the present day (Contemporary Age), and to develop the necessary skills, in terms of knowledge and critical thinking, to relate the influence of Art on the various creative expressions of contemporaneity. The learning objectives of this CU involve the following skills: 1. Observation and critical analysis of contemporary works of art; 2. Association between artists and works with corresponding artistic styles and movements; 3. Identification and association of historical events as the driving force behind contemporary artistic movements; 4. Completion and presentation of research/creation projects, developed in groups, meeting the established parameters; 5. Identification of influences of contemporary artistic currents in other expressive domains.
