Teaching Methodologies and Assessment Criteria |
The methodology adopted takes into account both the essentially reflective nature of ethics and the importance of conceptual rigor and of going beyond the merely opinionated. It seeks to provide students with essential conceptual and theoretical tools to foster debate on the analysis of films, as well as on the role of cinema and filmmakers in ethical development. Assessment will be continuous and phased. a. Group work (written and oral presentation): analysis of a film (50%) b. Written test (40%) c. Class participation and attendance (10%): A minimum attendance of 75% is required (the course has been designed based on the assumption of students’ effective presence), along with punctuality and overall student conduct (such as demonstrated interest, relevance, and objectivity of contributions). Active participation and submission of proposed activities (concept map and class-question) will also be assessed. Minimum grade to be admitted to the exam: 6 (six) Any evidence of plagiarism 0
