Entry requirements	To be UBI student, preferably from health courses or social sciences and humanities courses.
Learning outcomes	- Defining the role of Simulated Patients (SPs) in the context of pre-graduate education in medicine; - Acquiring basic staging and communication knowledge necessary to represent the role of SPs; - Developing knowledge and skills relevant for the medicine education grounded on the experience of representing patients (e.g., communication and empathy); - Acquiring the knowledge necessary to evaluate the performance of medical students within the context of OSCE - Objective Structured Clinical Examination; - Be able to represent the role of a simulated patient in a realistic, convincing and standardized way.
Syllabus	1. Introduction and framework 2. The SP role and OSCE exams 3. HW 1 - Research and reporting activity (individual) 4. Basics of staging-dramatization 5. Basics of clinical communication 6. HW 2 – Build a guide for an OSCE activity simulation 7. OSCE activity training with SP (including autoscopies) 8. Learning evaluation and course evaluation, with feedback on the work carried out
