Students must be enrolled in the PhD programmes in Biomedical Sciences, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or Medicine at UBI, or in the second cycle (Master’s level) of these fields.

Learning outcomes |
The Introduction to Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analysis course aims to equip students with the necessary tools to build a research team capable of conducting systematic reviews. Students are taught how to formulate a research question, apply the PICO criteria, conduct archival research, select relevant articles, build a database, and write the final manuscript. The practical work, which is subsequently assessed, allows for the application and consolidation of the acquired knowledge.

Teaching Methodologies and Assessment Criteria |
Written report, presented and discussed before a panel of faculty members. Final grade ranges from 0 to 20, based on the average of the individual scores assigned by each member of the jury.
