Learning outcomes General Objectives:
- To understand the structure and formation of lexical units in Portuguese.
Specific Objectives:
- To identify and analyze the processes of lexical unit formation.
- To understand the morphological classes of lexical units.
- To recognize morphemes and their function in words.

2. The lexicon of Portuguese;
3. Derivational morphology;
4. Inflectional morphology.

Teaching Methodologies and Assessment Criteria The classes will be based on the theoretical exposition of the programmatic contents, supported by the students' completion of practical tasks that allow for
the consolidation of the learned material.
Students will be evaluated at the end of the semester through a written exam, as well as continuously assessed based on their participation and completion of
tasks during classes.
The evaluation for the Portuguese Morphology course will be conducted according to the agreement between the instructor and the students, which will be
established through communication at the beginning of the academic semester, and will consist of the following:
1. Completion of practical tasks (20%)
2. Evaluation exam (80%)
Language Portuguese. Tutorial support is available in English.
