Syllabus 1. The writing on the expression of knowledge.
1.1 Planning the process of writing (the generation and organization of content and its appropriateness to the situation of communication).
1.2 Writing. Passage of the plan of ideas for the plan of written language, mechanisms for structuring textual cohesion, consistency, repetition rule, rule of
progression, rule of non-contradiction and rule the relationship.
1.3. Revision. Evaluation and revision of the text produced.
2. Use of writing in academic and professional background.
2.1 Types textual, narrative text, descriptive text, expository text, instructional text, predictive text, conversational text and text semiotic.
3. Process of creative writing.
4. Reference and citation processes and building bibliographies.
5. Text editing: the potential of electronic writing.

Teaching Methodologies and Assessment Criteria The methodologies used include lectures on exposition and application of contents, using New Technologies, whenever deemed appropriate; through
discussion and reflection about texts; and for individual and group work.
Students will be evaluated periodically in two moments of the semester, through the completion of a written test and the delivery and defense of a work, and
continuously for their participation during classes.
