Learning outcomes In this curricular unit, students will have to carry out fieldwork in local and regional cultural organizations. They should acquire practical skills in management, programming and cultural organization, in a context that allows them to develop their critical and entrepreneurial spirit, interpersonal relationships, communication, adaptability and problem solving. Specifically, fieldwork in a curricular context allows to
1. mobilize and apply scientific knowledge and soft skills to the work to be developed in a professional context;
2. Develop skills that are current demands of the labour market, such as communication and conflict management skills, teamwork and resistance to stress 3. Promote autonomy
4. To stimulate creativity.
Syllabus The fieldwork with cultural organizations should enable students to:
1. Recognize the role of cultural agents in different associations and institutions;
2. Contact with different publics and stakeholders in all phases of cultural programming or management.
3. Identify and mobilize new forms of cultural communication.

Teaching Methodologies and Assessment Criteria 1. Creation of a cultural product at an event (11 points).
2. Internship report in an organisational context (6 points).
3. Participation and attendance (3 points).
Attendance is compulsory at 100 per cent. Unjustified absence will lead to immediate failure. Justifications must be legally valid.
Language Portuguese. Tutorial support is available in English.
