Learning outcomes |
Within the curricular unit, the student should 1) understand the importance of some cultural institutions, both Portuguese and foreign; 2) knowing how to identify who participates in cultural institutions under the most different conditions, 3) being awake to issues as authorship and economy of culture. In this Curricular Unit, all Cultural Institutions will be approached equally, regarding their importance and relevance in the construction of a people's identity. The program contemplates the approach and analysis of the various institutions that produce and accumulate culture, public and private: libraries, archives, museums, foundations, theatres, among others, allowing the student, in practical work, to develop his vocation for future professional performances or open lines of research for further research at the level of the second or third cycle.
