Learning outcomes |
The Course Understanding International Politics provides participants with the essential tools and information to understand the contemporary challenges of world politics. Participants will have the opportunity to interact with professors, researchers and experts in international politics to acquire concepts from the areas of geopolitics, strategy, foreign policy analysis and security studies, and to apply them to the dynamics of the major regions of the world and the foreign policy of various states, including the USA, China, Brazil and Portugal.
LO1) Identify and understand the major dynamics of contemporary international politics and its main trends and challenges; LO2) Acquire and apply the conceptual, theoretical and analytical tools of geopolitics, strategy, security studies and foreign policy analysis.
