Learning outcomes This curricular unit focuses on a comprehensive and integrative framework for career assessment and intervention across the lifespan.
At the end of the curricular unit the student should be able to:
1. Understand the principles of psychological career assessment and intervention across the lifespan;
2. Identify, select and apply the appropriate techniques and strategies for assessing relevant psychological constructs in the field of career assessment and intervention;
3. Analyze, interpret and communicate, in a scientific and critical manner, the results arising from career assessment process;
4. Select, plan, apply and evaluate the main intervention methodologies appropriate to career intervention;
5. Identify and safeguard the ethical and deontological care inherent in the practice of career assessment and intervention;
6. Demonstrate collaborative working skills;
7. Demonstrate skills in researching and managing scientific information.

4. Current issues in career development assessment and intervention: technology, diversity and inclusion.

Teaching Methodologies and Assessment Criteria Assessment includes knowledge assessment tests (45%), theoretical-practical exercises that encourage independent and cooperative work skills are carry out throughout the contact sessions, namely: psychological scales and questionnaires administration and scoring, and writing a psychological report (45%); other theoretical-practical - group or individual - exercises (10%).
