Learning outcomes At the end of the course, the student should be able to:
- Define research problem
- Justify the theoretical background to the research problem
- Substantiate the empirical work
- Critically analyse theories and scientific models that underpin the research to be carried out
- Justify methodological options
- Analyse the data obtained
- Use analysis tools
- Interpret, discuss, and communicate results
- Write a dissertation in accordance with current regulations Follow ethical and deontological standards.
Syllabus The specific nature of the dissertation course means that no specific syllabus is defined. Therefore, the UC will be structured according to the topic that each student chooses to carry out their dissertation in Educational Psychology and Counselling.
Main Bibliography The bibliography is specific to each theme to be developed.
Teaching Methodologies and Assessment Criteria The master's dissertation must be defended in public examinations, where the technical components, the form of the written work and the public presentation and defence will be assessed, respecting the rules established by UBI regulations.
